Jesus' says look to Daniel ( Part 1 )

Jesus told His disciples to look to Daniel's prophecy about the Abomination of Desolation, standing in the holy place.  This would be a sign that the end of this age would be nearing a close.  Daniel spoke about this in a few places in his writings.  Daniel wrote in the 7th chapter about a succession of powers of leaders with the last one having a mouth uttering great boasts. At that time there will be ten leaders.  Three of them will be replaced by this one.  While this leader is doing what he is doing to the earth,  the Ancient of Days ( Jesus ) will take His seat, His rule, but not on the earth yet.  While this leader continues to speak his boastful words against the Ancient of Days, he will end up being slain, and it's body will be destroyed and given to the burning fire.  Then Jesus will begin a dominion that will be everlasting and His kingdom will not be destroyed.  From now on, I will refer to the leader of great boast as the anti-Christ, for that is what he is called in scripture.  Before this anti-Christ is killed, he will wage war with the saints and overpower them.  Then Jesus will come and pass judgment in favor of the saints of the Highest One, and at that time the saints will take possession of the kingdom.  This is just a quick summation of what I will be expanding on.  The Abomination of Desolation, is when this anti-Christ will break a seven year peace agreement with Israel.  The agreement will allow Israel  to start back up sacrifices in the temple.  In the middle of that peace covenant, the anti- Christ will break the covenant, and seat himself in the temple, making claims of being god, great boast.  There is a lot more of this picture to paint and I want it to be a masterpiece.   So I will take small strokes in painting it.  If you haven't read my previous blogs please take advantage of them.  Thank you.
